LILIANA MEJÍA
Fine Art Printing
As a fine art printer I work in collaboration with artists and photographers to manifest their vision in archival digital prints. Some of the steps include: editing, digital image processing, color management, retouching, selection of scale, tonal gradation and proper medium for the image.
These are selected works created in the last 10 years of my career. Each project has its own qualities and challenges. I truly enjoy the process of bringing images to life as a tangible object, finding the optimum print to express the image and the relation between depth and surface, while honoring the artists' view of their project.
